We happily offer luxury boarding and daycare services here at Crossroads Animal Hospital! We are dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and fun place for your pet to stay. Our new state-of-the-art boarding facility is equipped with indoor/outdoor accessible suites, including four larger suites.
All of our boarders are under vet supervision and are well taken care of by our trained animal loving Caregivers. We let dogs outside three times a day in our fully fenced play yard where we have agility equipment, toys, and lots of room for your pets to run around. Extra play time is available upon request.
What to Bring:
- Food and Treats
While we do offer special kennel food for our boarders, we encourage you to bring your pet's own food, especially for puppies and dogs who require a special prescription diet. We ask that you do not bring any raw food.
Please bring any medication that your pet takes regularly in the original container, if possible. It should have your pet's name and CURRENT dosage clearly listed on the container. There is a medication fee of $3.70 for the administration of medication daily. Please fill out the form below and bring it with you when dropping your pet off for boarding: Medication Administration Form
Due to extended care for diabetic dogs, there will be a special charge of $12 daily. This includes daily blood glucose checks, exam by veterinarian and insulin administration.
We provide bedding and bowls for all our of boarders, so we prefer owners not to bring any from home. You may bring a couple of toys for your pet so they have familiar items to play with during their stay. Please label all of your pet's belongings and provide feeding instructions.

For the protection of each of our boarding pets, we require that all new guests pass a physical exam performed by one of our veterinarians prior to their first visit. Each pet also needs to be current on all vaccines. Our kennel staff is also qualified to administer any medications your pet may need while staying with us.
All of our boarders are required to be current on vaccinations. Dogs are required to be vaccinated for DA2PL, Bordetella (every 6 months), and Rabies. Cats are required to be vaccinated against FVRCP and Rabies.
Please let us know if your pet has any major health problems (heart, kidney, liver disease, epilepsy, diabetic). We also ask that you leave an emergency contact number that will allow us to reach you or someone designated by you should any emergency or treatment be necessary.
Flea Control Policy
All pets that stay with us are required to have a Capstar given on arrival whether fleas are seen or not. Capstar is an oral tablet that will kill all adult fleas for 24 hours. It is a safe veterinarian-approved flea treatment for dogs and cats. It is safe to be given while patients are on heartworm and other types of flea products. This policy was put into effect so as not to spread fleas to other patients in our hospital and to prevent other patients from going home with fleas. It also controls fleas from being spread in our yard where your dog goes to play. We take pride in our flea-free environment. There is a nominal fee for this medication.
