At Crossroads Animal Hospital, we get a ton of interesting questions from pet parents. Below are some common FAQs that might help answer any questions or concerns. Please feel free to call us at 225-261-6000 for any other concerns you might have about your pet.

What are your hospital hours?

Monday- Friday: 7:00 am-5:30 pm, close for lunch 12:00 pm-1:30 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am-12:00 pm

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes. We prefer appointments.

Do you offer boarding, grooming or daycare?

We currently offer boarding and daycare. We will be offering grooming services in the near future! Contact us for more information.

Is it necessary to give my dog or cat flea, tick heartworm prevention year-round?
Yes. We recommend all preventions year-round.
What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash, check, and CareCredit.

Do you do payment plans?

No payment plan options are available, but we do accept CareCredit. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients’ needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

What kind of pets do you treat?

Felines, canines, avian, and exotics.

What vaccines do you require for boarding and daycare?

We require all vaccinations for boarding and for daycare, including canine influenza. For canines: DA2PL, Canine Influenza, Bordetella (every 6 months), Rabies. For felines: FVRCP and Rabies.
