Additional Pet Services in the City of Central, LA
Obedience Training
Obedience training doesn’t solve all behavior problems, but it is the foundation for solving just about any problem. Training opens up a line of communication between you and your dog. Effective communication is necessary to instruct your dog about what you want them to do. Dr. LoBue will work with you and your dog one on one where he will teach sit, stay, down, heel, and come. Dr LoBue can also address other areas of concern during the six-week sessions. Call our office at 225-261-6000 for more details on Obedience Training 101.
Bathing/Grooming
We are able to bathe your pet Monday – Friday. This service includes nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. Brushing out and deshedding furminator services may be added on at an additional cost. There are a variety of shampoos available, and we will apply a medicated shampoo if your pet has a specific dermatological need. For baths, pets are dropped off in the morning prior to 9:00 and picked up in the afternoon.
Grooming
We offer grooming Monday – Friday. Each grooming consists of a bath, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. We also offer grooming specials. If you would like to know more details, please contact us.
Pets must be consistently on Bravecto, Nexgard, or Simparica Trio.
Skin Problems/Allergies
Is your dog scratching continuously? Does your dog have hot spots? How about a rash? Skin disorders are among the most common health problems in dogs. The condition of dog’s skin and coat can also be an important indicator of its general health. There are many causes of skin disorders in dogs that can vary from acute, self-limiting problems to chronic or long-lasting problems requiring life- time treatment.
